I’m Mariana Barcellos, a singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro living in Woodstock, NY. I perform Brazilian Bossa Nova, Samba, and my original songs alongside my husband, Gabriel Dresdale, a cellist and multi-instrumentalist, as well as other talented musicians including Gil Oliveira (drums), Steve Gorn (flutes, clarinet and sax), and Timothy Hill (guitar). I’m also joined by my wonderful singing sisters, who add their voices to my original compositions!

As a voice teacher, I love helping students discover their unique voice through lessons grounded in my MA in Voice Pedagogy, blending technique with a somatic, embodied approach inspired by yoga and body awareness. Private lessons are available in person or online.

Inspired by our 8-year-old daughter, Michaela Jasmin, we created a Music Summer Camp for Kids, nurturing creativity and confidence in young voices.
